Girls’ Generation Former Member, Jessica, Files Complaint Against Trolls

Jessica denied allegations on Presidential scandal connection through a statement released by the singer’s agency.

Girl's Generation former member Jessica has filed a complaint against netizens who wrote malicious comments about her.

According to a report, the 27-year-old singer-actor filed the petition at the Gangnam Police Station earlier this month. The singer-actor is seeking an investigation into two online users for allegedly insulting her and writing malicious comments about her.

Jessica Jung is better known by her first name Jessica. She is an American singer songwriter, actress, fashion designer and businesswoman. Jung was a former member of K-pop girl group, Girls' Generation. She is one of the main vocalists from the groups debut on August 5, 2007 til September 30, 2014.

According to the police, the two netizens are accused of writing comments about belittling her looks and sexually harassing Jessica's photos posted on the local Internet portal site Naver in May.

The singer is known to have said during the police questioning that the trolls were habitual in writing such comments and always saying bad things about her every time she post a photo on her Naver account.

Jessica had to leave SNSD, due to her schedule conflicts and her sole focus at the time being on her fashion business, Blanc & Eclare. Jessica made her solo singing debut, under Coridel Entertainment with the lead single, "Fly" featuring Fabulous and released her first solo album, "With love, J" in May 2016.

Furthermore, Jessica has a younger sister named Krystal Jung, who is a singer and actress, best known for being a member of the South Korea based girl group f(x), under SM Entertainment.
