Tom Cruise Excited For ‘The Mummy’ Reboot? Actor Begins Scouting Locations For The Film After Kicking Out Brendan Frasier

It seems like Tom Cruise is ecstatic for his lead role in the upcoming reboot of "The Mummy" as he was reportedly seen checking out locations for the movie.

The famous 53-year-old actor was reported to be very busy as he's joined by some of the film's crew checking out numerous spots and locations for the adventure reboot movie. Furthermore, report showed pictures of Cruise going in and out of a vehicle during the location scouting. They visited a couple of ruins in Malta and scouted out some places with overlooking and impressive views.

Cruise is believed to start the filming of the upcoming "The Mummy" reboot during summer after he finished his filming "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back."

Cruise was reported and confirmed to be the leading star playing the role of Brendan Fraser before as Richard Rick O'Connell alongside Sofia Boutella of "Kingsman: The Secret Service."

A previous report has cited why Cruise is the perfect choice for "The Mummy" reboot, saying that he is the right choice for a franchise linear to Universal's plan of creating a monster shared universe.

Moreover, the report claimed that the film is aimed for mainstream appeal that balances adventure and action with horror elements. There is reportedly no doubt that he is a kind of actor that could bring strength and charisma for the movie as much as how he did with his previous "Mission: Impossible" movies.

Alex Kurtzman is set to direct the said remake of the famousepic about an expedition of treasure-seeking explorers in the Sahara Desert in 1925.

Despite the fact that "The Mummy" reboot will be the third action franchise that Tom Cruise will be doing simultaneously, the actor showed how he is interested in doing his job.
