‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 13 Review: Goku Vs Beerus Fight Still On, Manga To To Start Champa Saga
Time for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 13 review! It premiered last Sunday, October 5, and the battle between Goku and Beerus are still raging on, according to Attack of the Fanboy.
The 12th episode of the series shows Goku and Beerus' power struggle, which still continues in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 13. Both of them are blasting off powerful energy attacks against each other, and by the looks of it, no one seems to be quitting anytime soon.
Both of their powers are so intense that both Earth and Kaioshin's planet can feel them! There is no other battle similar to this in its anime history, and how we see it in "Dragon Ball Super" makes it more dramatic than with "Battle of Gods." However, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 13 also makes just another Goku vs. Beerus episode, which could also be dragging as neither of the two are getting advantage against the other.
To sum up the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 13, it is not as entertaining as the last three episodes. While the action scenes are still pretty decent, its development could have been a little better.
Meanwhile, the 45th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine includes an update of its manga adaptation which is currently serialized in the monthly V-Jump. The announcement says that series illustrator Toyotaro just started working on the "Champa arc" of the manga. The character was officially revealed last June as part of promotions for "Dragon Ball Super," yet only very little information about Champa has been revealed that his assistant is not even named yet, according to Kanzenshuu.
The manga adaptation included some material that is not seen in the ongoing anime series, yet still follows the original story. Champa already made an appearance on the second chapter and his next appearances are intermixed as the story continues. It is not yet revealed if the character will make an appearance in the anime soon.
The next episode of "Dragon Super" will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 11.
