By all indications, "Pokemon GO" will certainly get a 2016 release date, as details of the launch are being fleshed out.

However, specific information on the highly-anticipated game's roll will "slightly deviate" from the earlier plans announced by Nintendo and The "Pokemon" company, reported the iDigitalTimes via Yibada.

The "Pokemon" Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara disclosed that "Pokemon GO" will not have a simultaneous release date but will instead be rolled out in "waves."

This means that the augmented reality game will be released separately, with Japanese, North American and European players as the first to play the title on their mobile phones.

Next to receive "Pokemon GO" on their mobile devices are gamers from South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle Eastern regions.

There are speculations that the release date of "Pokemon GO"  will be revealed soon after the GDC 2016 this coming March.

In its official website, Niantic announced that a demo version of "Pokemon GO" will be presented to GDC attendees.

Movie Pilot likewise confirmed reports of "Pokemon GO's" separate release dates quoting a report from the Yomiuri Shimbun.

From the Japanese paper's interview with "Pokemon" Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, "Pokemon GO" will be released "region by region."

The company executive revealed that the AR game will first launch first in Japan, Europe and North America, presumably at the same time.

He added that orders have already been made for the game.

Based on Nintendo's past release date schedules, its games are first rolled out in Japan, then America, then Europe before the rest of the world.

"Pokemo GO will then have a slightly later date for South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

"...So it's unclear if they'll opt for this staggered model once again," Movie Pilot said.
