Fans may feel a bit sad as speculations revealed that with this new installment, there will be less appearances of Johnny Depp, while Javier Bardem's character Captain Salazar is on the spotlight.

As a result, many fans questioned the rumored synopsis and even the editing of the film after director Joachim Ronning posted a photo in Instagram that the fifth installment is on its post production.

According to a report, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" was supposedly released on July 7, 2017, but it was moved to premiere on May 26. Despite the start of the film's production, the release date was considered still a long way off.

On the other hand, a report claimed, "Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea including him."
