Apple WWDC

The symbolism and the broader significance of Apple's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) are so indubitable that the event has hands down earned itself the honor of being the most anticipated Apple conference over the past few years.

Justifiably so, after all, this is the grand platform that brings thousands of developers across the world the opportunity to meet and interact with Apple engineers and participate in various workshops and software sessions.

Just like the previous years, WWDC 2016 will also be held in June at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco.

The fruit-themed tech heavyweight is yet to disclose the official schedule, but an early assessment by MacRumors hints at June 13 to 17 as the possible WWDC 2016 dates/schedule.

Not much is known about the possible WWDC 2016 releases, yet! However, going by the trend Apple followed in the previous renditions of the event, it is extremely likely the company has a few treats for the awaiting Apple loyalists and the tech community as a whole.

For those not familiar with the WWDC, Apple holds a keynote event on the inaugurating day to unveil brand spanking new pieces of software and products.

WWDC 2015 witnessed a more software and service-centric approach from the company that manifested in the releases of iOS 9, Mac OS X El Capitan, Apple Music and the moderately successful watchOS.

A similar approach is being expected this year as well. MacRumors is almost certain that Apple will introduce the Mac OX 10.12 and iOS 10 in WWDC 2016. Granted these are still rumors, but highly probable nonetheless.

However, reports are quite sketchy when it comes to new hardware. Odds are WWDC 2016 releases could include the MacBook Pro 2016.

Citing Ming-chi Kuo of KGI Securities who has a proven track record of giving accurate insider info on unreleased Apple products, Apple Insider earlier reported that upgrades of MacBook lineup could arrive this June.

But then, some also believe that the next-generation MacBook Pro could be unveiled along with the iPhone 5se during the coming Apple event in March.

Other major WWDC 2016 might include the thinner MacBook Air in 13-inch and 15-inch variants.
