Black Sabbath's new album to be released in their 2016 tour

For fans wanting to get their hands on Black Sabbath's new album, joining them in their "one last tour" might be the only way to get it.

Black Sabbath's new album, called "The End," a reference to their last world tour, will reportedly be released in those events.

Reports have it that the much anticipated series of performance by the American rock band will be highlighted by the release of the new album.

This upcoming Black Sabbath CD is not exactly "new" though as it will only include three new songs according to bassist Geezer Butler.

"We thought we'd put out an album of 13 songs, but when we were in the studio we wrote another three songs, which brought it up to 16 and then we left it to Rick Rubin to pick which songs would go on the album, and to give it some light and shade he picked the eight songs that were on 'The 13' album," he told Billboard.

"We put a few songs on deluxe versions of the album and then we had the four left over, and we decided to do a gig-only CD."

Along with Black Sabbath's new album, another reason why attending the band's tour is a must is because this might be their last hurrah.

Butler said in another interview that their appearance at the Download Festival and other will "definitely be the end."

Ozzy Osbourne added that each member agreed to end their career on a high note.

"We just all decided that we wanted to do one last tour," Butler said in an interview with Detroit Free Press.

"And we're all getting up there in age, and while we're still at the top of our profession, both musically and aesthetically, we wanted to go out on the top, and we feel that this is the right time to do it."

Black Sabbath was first formed in Birmingham on 1968. In their more than 40 years in the music industry, they have released 19 albums in total that earned them multiple accolades.
