Harry Styles Says One Direction Is Bigger Than The Beatles

One Direction has officially broken up as Zayn Malik and Harry Styles left the band to pursue their solo careers. After they disbanded, is the group bigger than The Beatles?

Malik disappointed his bandmates Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry when he decided to leave One Direction last year. Ringgo Star of The Beatles has also commented on the issue that the band will be breaking up for good.

Starr revealed that he did not quite understand why 1D wanted to take a break during the peak of their careers. "We did not understand taking hiatus or holidays. We just kept on going, because we loved it," the Fab Four member said, Design & Trend quoted. "We loved to play and we loved to play live."

According to Billboard, the band has reached their fifth song to enter the top 10, which beats The Beatles' four.

"We all sat and watched the film of The Beatles arriving in America. And, to be honest, that really was like us," Styles said in an interview. "Stepping off the plane, the girls, the madness. It was exactly the same as when we got there - just 50 years earlier."

Styles believes that One Directio has beaten The Beatles when it comes to fame.

"Fame-wise, it's probably even bigger, but we don't stand anywhere near them in terms of music," said Styles.

For years, the band has become so popular that millions of people were disappointed when the news broke out that they will be taking a break from making music as a group.

According to new reports, Styles has already signed up with a new company for his press releases and that he will now be a part of a new recording company.

"No, no, no! We just got nominated for two Brits," according to Payne, Inquisitr quoted.

Will One Direction leave it all behind without taking The Beatles member's advice? Stay tuned as more updates become available.
