George Clooney's Wife Amal Alamuddin Brings Him In Work To Prevent Divorce?

George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin, is making waves in the field of international human rights, taking on high-profile cases including the recently much-talked about call for sanctions by Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed.

With Amal Alamuddin having a stellar legal career and carving a name for herself, is there a possibility that George Clooney is feeling left out from his wife's legal engagements?

Amal Alamuddin recently sat in a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss the migration crisis in Europe. Some were surprised to see George Clooney accompany his wife in the meeting.

Is Alamuddin trying to include her husband in her political activities so that he wouldn't feel left out?

It doesn't seem so. In fact, George Clooney was the main reason why the couple was in Berlin in the first place.

According to USA Today, the actor and his wife were in Germany for the 66th Berlin International Film Festival - an opportunity that Alamuddin took advantage of to advance her human rights agenda.

"The couple, who were in the capital to attend the Berlinale film festival, used their privileged access to discuss 'refugee policies' and their work with the aid group International Rescue Committee," Daily Mail reported.

Clooney seem to be used to his wife's job, as he said in an interview in "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last year.

"What is it like to be the arm candy in a relationship?" Colbert asked, as quoted by Today. "She must say, like, 'We're going to meet extremely intelligent people tonight - these are not show folk. Just be shiny and pretty.'"

"Shiny and pretty - that's mostly what I do,'' Clooney jokingly said.

"They said it wouldn't last. It's going really well,"the actor added.

Amal Alamuddin has been George Clooney's wife since September 2014.
