Michael Fassbender Claims 'Assassin's Creed' Movie Will Be Closely Similar To The Video Game

"Assassin's Creed" film adaptation from the hit Ubisoft video game is one of the much-awaited movies of the year, and Michael Fassbender assures fans will not be dismayed.

In a previous report, Fassbender was chosen to play Callum Lynch in the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" movie. He shared that it will be making the popular video game to life and even compared it having the same level with the ever-famous science fiction movie "The Matrix."

Fassbender described how the whole production team makes it a real-life version of the video game and how they were striving to find something special. He added that he believed the concept around the movie adaptation is really special and assured fans they work hard to the best they can.

"The fans are really passionate: very specific and they expect accuracy and historical detail. We're really trying to capitalize and feed on and enjoy the fun element. We're working hard to make this something special," Fassbender added.

The 38-year-old actor exposed that the film is filled with green screens and emphasized on practical stunts during the filming.

"We have stunt guys jumping across buildings in [Maltese capital] Valletta. We've got [stunt man] Damian Walters doing a 120-foot leap of faith, without any rope, into a bag, so it's pretty incredible to see," he added.

Fassbender mentioned that the game has a lot of stuff referring to parkour. He provided samples like blades attached to actor's wrists, getting in close to the targets, and close quarter fighting so much like in the video game.

Michael Fassbender will be included in the "Assassin's Creed" movie cast alongside Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, Callum Turner, Michael Kenneth Williams, and many more. The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel. The much-awaited movie adaptation will hit theatres on December 21.
