Korean Actress Choi Ji Woo On Marriage: ‘I Don’t Want To Rush Or Be Forced Into It’
South Korean actress Choi Ji Woo said in an interview with Yonhap News Agency posted Friday that she is not in a hurry to settle down.
"I feel ambivalent about marriage," the 40-year-old actress said. "I don't want to rush or be forced into it. It would be a pity to live my life in a rush when everything else is going so well."
Choi revealed she used to have romantic fantasy when she was younger. However, she added that she is "way past [her] age to have one" now.
"I used to have one in my 20s and my early 30s. I had a huge fantasy about marriage, but I'm too old for that now," Choi added.
Choi's upcoming romance film, entitled "Like for Likes," is her first silver screen character in seven years. The South Korean actress will play the role of a flight attendant who catches feelings for a chef portrayed by Kim Ju Hyeok. In addition, the film will also feature actors Yoo Ah In and Kang Ha Neul.
"I hope this film gives positive vibes to its viewers. I had a great time filming it, so hopefully those who watch it leave the theater with a smile," Choi said.
On the other hand, reports revealed the South Korean actress intends to re-sign with her agency, YG Entertainment, once her contract ends, Allkpop reported Thursday.
