Ozzy Osbourne To Release New Album Following Black Sabbath's Final Tour?

Black Sabbath has certainly become a pillar in the music industry.

After bringing great heavy metal music for nearly five decades, the iconic band has finally decided to perform their last tour.

And while the band will no longer perform live following their road shows this year, it's been heavily rumored that lead vocalist, Ozzy Osbourne is going to release his new solo album this year.

"It's going to be a really special album," Sylvia Rhone, Epic Records President, teased of Osbourne's new album to Blabbermouth. "It's going to be amazing, it's something Ozzy has never done before that he's always wanted to do."

Meanwhile, band guitarist, Tony Iommi, talked about his experience in working with Black Sabbath since the band started in 1968.

And while he admitted that he would love to play and perform music live as long as he can, it seemed that the band members' age would no longer allow them.

"I can't actually do this anymore," Iommi said in an interview with Birmingham Mail. "My body won't take it much more."

And while Iommi's health condition has forced him to retire from the music industry for good, he did assure fans that Black Sabbath will not just go and leave without giving a final performance.

"I don't want that creeping back again," he explained. "And all the travelling involved in Sabbath tours increasingly takes its toll. That's why we're going out on one last tour, to say our farewells."

"And then it very definitely is the end."
