'19 Kids and Counting' Reboot: Is Jinger Duggar The Show's New Star Now That Jill And Jessa Are Married?
The Duggar family's fans can't wait to hear the latest update if rumors of a "19 Kids and Counting" reboot are true.
According to previous rumors, TLC realized that despite Josh Duggar's molestation and cheating scandals last year, the Duggars still do have a following as proven by the ratings of Jill and Jessa Duggar's mini-series aired in December, titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."
"Nancy Daniels, TLC's executive vice president and general manager talked about the Duggars earlier this week while serving on a Television Critics Association panel," Star Pulse previously wrote in a news update.
"She explained that while the network had 'challenges' with the Josh Duggar situation, the audience 'still cares' about the girls, so they are 'still talking, about future episodes," the update continued.
Furthermore, Amy (Duggar) King making it to the cover of People Magazine this month also confirms that the public is still interested in the clan.
Amid rumors that "19 Kids and Counting" will be returning on air, many fans have noticed that Jinger Duggar recently had a makeover.
"Last week, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and Jinger Duggar headed to Freshair Salon in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Check out their new hairdos, courtesy of Catelyn Hooser," said an entry in the Duggar Family blog.
The entry added a quotation from hairdresser Catelyn Hooser about Jinger Duggar's new look: "Today Jinger and I decided to change things up..we trimmed her length, added some layers and framed it around her face! She is such a sweet girl."
Are the Duggars preparing Jinger to be the new darling of the show now that both Jill and Jessa are married? The couple may possibly be not as visible in their show as those who still live in Jim Bob and Michelle's abode.
It may not be clear right now, as the Duggars seem to be taking things one day at a time after "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled following Josh Duggar's molestation scandal.
TLC is yet to announce if "19 Kids and Counting" will indeed be returning on air for a reboot after Jill and Jessa Duggar's mini-series last year. It is also yet to be revealed if Josh will be part of the show if it pushes through.
