'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Spoilers: 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' To Be Released 6 Weeks Earier; Keira Knightley Replaced
"Pirates Of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is currently in the making. It turns out the movie will be released six weeks earlier than the said schedule.
It has been confirmed that Orlando Bloom will be joining Johnny Depp in the upcoming movie franchise "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales," which will be reportedly released on May 26, 2017 instead of July 7.
Bloom will be back to reprise his role as Will Turner together with Geoffrey Rush to play Captain Barbossa and Javier Bardem to play Captain Salazar.
Disney has released a statement about the sudden changes in the release date.
"The move follows the extraordinary success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was the first Star Wars movie to premiere in December," the statement from Disney reads, Alt Press quoted. "In the popular holiday movie-going corridor, it smashed numerous records, including biggest domestic and global debuts of all time as well as the biggest domestic second and third weekends, en route to becoming the highest grossing domestic release of all time with over $861M and the third biggest global release ever with $1.887B."
The upcoming film will be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg under the production of Jerry Bruckheimer.
Moreover, Keira Knightley will not be reprising her role as the leading lady of the franchise as the insallment welcomes Carina Smythe played by Kaya Scoledario to be Turner and Sparrow's competitor in finding the Trident Of Poseidon. Speculations are now rounding up as moviegoers ask if she will end up with Sparrow.
Slash Film released the official synopsis of the upcoming installment.
