Fans have waited a long time for Bruno Mars to release a new album and things might turn out hopeful for his listeners as the iconic singer teases them this 2016 and entices them with his upcoming Super Bowl performance this February.

The renowned pop star and singer-songwriter went on to his Twitter account to post a message to all of his fans on Jan. 10, 2016, which teased all his listeners that he's definitely brewing up some hit songs for his new album.

"I'm on a mission," Mars went on to write over on his Twitter account. "I'm Obsessed to make an album I'm genuinely proud of."

"Stick with me Hooligans. I'll get there. Love Brunz."

As fans could not help but speculate as to whether Bruno Mars will be releasing a new album this 2016, it was recently reported that the Hawaiian-born singer stated in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres via the "The Ellen Show" on Youtube that it will take some time for his latest record to be finished.

"Thankfully 'Uptown Funk' is doing what it's doing and, yeah... until... it's gotta be just as good if not then better, right?" Mars explained.

The singer has been quite thrifty when it comes to dishing out details about a new album being released, which fans hope to happen sometime this 2016, as Bruno Mars even went on to reply to a tweet by his fan and giving out as minimal details as possible.

"Can't say much but Just know that this next album will be my third album... Huh?" He replied to his fan over at Twitter.

Moreover, fans will be able to catch him perform over at the 2016 Super Bowl 50 halftime show this February.

Mars will be joined by the widely renowned band Coldplay as frontman Chris Martin has decided to perform on the event, E Online confirmed.
