A whole year has passed since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious by boyfriend, Nick Gordon, in the bathtub of her Georgia home in Atlanta. While the 22-year-old's death came when she was in hospice care last July, an update revealed her case is still open and under investigation.

Roswell, Ga. police closed their investigation in June and handed over Brown's case to the Fulton County District Attorney's office for review.

The DA office has been mum about its investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown's death and has not provided any new update on the tests conducted, the people they interviewed and the evidence gathered.

No one has been arrested or charged yet, including Bobbi Kristina Brown's former live-in boyfriend Nick Gordon, who's being sued for wrongful death by the conservator of her estate.

According to the lawsuit, Gordon reportedly gave Brown a "toxic cocktail" which made her lose consciousness. But the allegations have been dismissed by his attorney.

"Nick is continuing to grieve privately," said Gordon's lawyer in a statement to E! News.

"On top of losing the love of his life and his dearest friend, he has been dehumanized by the fictitious allegations made in the civil suit and repeatedly slandered in the press."

"Despite all of this, Nick remains strong and is sincerely thankful for the endless love and support he has received from friends and strangers alike," Gordon's lawyer added.

With the multi-million lawsuit against Gordon still pending, Bobbi's boyfriend has been sharing several photos of his late girlfriend throughout the month of January, as reported by Mail Online.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's death triggered a slew of heartaches, family tensions and lawsuits. The family drama continued when Leolah Brown, Bobbi's aunt, left her niece's funeral angrily after a supposed disagreement with Pat Houston.

The most recent update was the arrest of fake nurse who reportedly cared for Bobbi Kristina Brown at the hospice. The suspect was charged for practicing nursing without a license, according to 13 Wmaz.
