Anna Duggar Homeschools Children To Protect Them From Josh's Scandals?

The Duggars have been under public scrutiny since Josh Duggar's molestation and cheating scandals surfaced last year.

And though the "19 Kids and Counting" family seem to be holding up while enduring the conrtroversies, there are speculations that Anna Duggar could be trying to protect her kids fom the effects of their father's scandals.

Is Anna Duggar homeschooling her kids to minimize their interaction with other kids, and lessen their exposure to negative publicity thrown against Josh Duggar?

That is a question that the Duggar family is yet to answer. However, it is highly possible that Anna Duggar's decision to homeschool her kids may have more to do with her and her husband's educational and religious backgrounds rather than Josh Duggar's scandals.

According to Josh and Anna Duggar Family JA20.com, the "19 Kids and Counting" couple were homeschooled.

A previous post in the Duggar's family blog said Anna Duggar uses various educational materials to homeschool their five-year-olf daughter Mackynzie and four-year-old son Michael.

The blog also published Anna Duggar's advice on "navigating the homeschooling world."

"After high school, I did an online Christian college program in early child education, but what has helped me the most has been taking advice from my mom, my mother-in-law, and other homeschooling veterans," Anna Duggar said, as quoted from the Duggars' family blog.

"It's great to learn from other women who are further down the road. I find women with teenage children who love the Lord or grandchildren who love the Lord, and I seek to learn from them," Anna continued.

"It's also important to realize that just because something worked for one family, that doesn't mean it's going to work for you."

Anna Duggar homeschooling her kids may not be something new to the family, as fans may be well aware that "19 Kids and Counting" matriarch Michelle Duggar has also been homeschooling her kids.

Answering a fan's question about homeschooling, Michelle Duggar previously expressed pride over her eldest son's fast learning when he was a kid.

"Josh was reading by the time he was five," Michelle Duggar said, according to TLC. "I think if I had only known back then what I know now, I would've been a little more relaxed and not taken so long with him. But he was absorbing it and he did great."

Meanwhile, the Duggars are yet to confirm nor deny rumors that a "19 Kids and Counting" is underway.

It could be recounted that the family's reality show has been cancelled after news about Josh Duggar's molestation scandal broke last year.
