Colton Haynes recently opened up about suffering from anxiety as questions about his sexuality continue to hound the "Arrow" star.

The "Arrow" star took to Twitter to share his constant struggle to fight anxiety.

"It's been a constant struggle for me since 5th grade," Haynes wrote, as Entertainment Weekly shared. "It's a battle."

He said that he experienced "fainting, hyperventilating, or seizure" due to severe anxiety.

"I've [quit] jobs because of anxiety," he wrote, "flaked on social events, family gatherings, birthdays, important movie/work tests. Its a serious problem."

However, "Arrow" star Colton Haynes also said that those who suffer from anxiety are not hopeless cases.

"We can overcome this," he said. "Be there for those who struggle with anxiety & realize its a serious disorder. Its not a case of 'being dramatic'...its a life long struggle."

One proof that the 27-year-old actor has already come to terms with his anxiety is how Colton Haynes has been dealing with the "secret gay past" rumors.

Recently, pornandmariah posted in Tumblr which alleged, "When I found out Colton Haynes had a secret gay past i got so excited even though I know it makes absolutely no difference in my life."

Haynes then had a quick 'reblog' in his official Tumblr account as he quipped, "Was it a secret? Let's all just enjoy life & have no regrets :)."

Colton Haynes is definitely not afraid to tackle his sexuality as the "Arrow" star recently graced the Vanity Fair cover in a gender-swap photoshoot with friend, Emily Bett Rickards.

"I think it speaks a lot to the time we are in right now as androgyny is a two-way street," photographer Tyler Shields explained on the concept of the shoot.

Colton Haynes did not seem to mind getting into a woman's clothing, amid the gay rumors, and he even thanked the magazine for his experience.

"Thx[sic] @vanityfair for letting @emilybett & I gender-swap for the day with @thetylershields," the "Arrow" actor wrote on Instagram. "EPIC!!! I kinda look like Marilyn."
