Lenovo has unveiled its new product line of Thinkpad X1 series comprising of laptops, hybrids, desktops and tablets. Let's have a look at The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet's Specs, pricing and release date.

"It's now going to be the gold standard in 2-in-1s, so what that means is it's a tablet first," said Lenovo brand ambassador Stephen Miller, cited CRN.

Incredibly portable - The tablet is very light to carry around; makes it ideal for frequent travellers and commuters.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 tablet is 12 inches and weighs less than two pounds.

Extended battery life: The hybrid tablet supplies up to nine to 11 hours long battery life and it has extra productivity modules that can double it!

Performance: X1 tablet is equipped with a 6th generation Core i7 processor and features 8 GB of RAM. BusinessNewsDaily has stated that Lenovo hasn't sacrificed the device's performance for the sake of its slimmer body.

In addition to these hardware highlights, the device includes a speedier solid-state drive compared to its predecessor and its 'OneLink Port' lets you connect to a desktop dock at the office.

The tablet features a high-resolution 2K display and an adjustable keyboard that can be attached or detached according to preferences.

Storage: X1 hybrid has a massive storage of up to 1 TB.

ThinkPad X1 tablet is a multifaceted hybrid (2-in-1): It can be attached to three different modules at its bottom in order to transform into a Normal Laptop, a Projector and/or a 3-D camera!

The tablet features a 3-D Realsense camera that is designed for 3-D imaging and modeling. The module combines Intel's RealSense camera to capture and edit objects that can be used for 3D printing. This might be the first ever tablet to perform 3D imaging as of now, Stated The Verge. However, the X1 tablet has its limitations that it can only capture objects rather than serving as a webcam.

The company's "presenter" module includes a pico projector that can project a 60-inch display out of this tablet.

Pricing: The X1 tablet starts at $899 and goes up to $999 (for keyboard and Pen accessory-included).

Expected Release date is on February 2016.
