'Prison Break' Season 5 Spoilers And Release Date Revealed; Will Wentworth Miller Return?

The highly-anticipated TV series "Prison Break" will be back in the small screens with its season 5. But more importantly, fans have been wondering if Wentworth Miller will be reprising his role in the upcoming show.

It has been recently reported that "Prison Break" has been renewed, but the exact date of the release has not yet been announced by Fox. 

According to Movie News Guide, Wentworth Miller will be reprising his roles as Michael Scofield in the upcoming "Prison Break" season 5. Dominic Purcell will be returning to the series as well.

Scofield, played by Miller, was thought to be dead in season 4 of the show, however, he turned out to be alive. 

"Yes, he may have died at the end of the original run but get ready for the return of Michael and forget about continuity in favour of nostalgia," Express wrote in a post.

Fans have been wondering how Scofield tricked everyone, including the audience, about his death.

"The scriptwriters must offer a believable story on how Michael survived the electrocution in the story. He sacrificed himself in order to let his wife, Sara escaped prison," Movie News Guide wrote in a post.

Rumors have been arising that the production of the show will be delayed since Miller and Purcell have been busy working on "Legends Of Tomorrow."

Sarah Wayne Callies is also expected to return to the series since she plays the wife of Scofield.

"They're at the script stage right now, and so they're gonna have to know who's in it, where we're gonna do it and when we're gonna do it," Callies told Digital Spy in an interview.

"Prison Break" season 5 is expected to premiere by the end of this year or early 2017.
