Tom Cruise Scientology: Actor Using His Religion As His Own Army?
"Mission Impossible" actor Tom Cruise has been a hot subject in the headlines as of late, following several reports about him and being an active advocate of his religion, known as Church of Scientology.
It was previously reported that Cruise had bragged about his religion and claimed that becoming a part of it made him overcome his childhood illness dyslexia.
While the 53-year old actor may have been known as a loyal devotee of Scientology, rumor has it that he has been using his religion as his own army, wherein he could easily push people away if they would not agree to his bidding.
This claims reportedly came for actress Leah Remini, who happens to be a former member of the church. As noted by The Inquisitr, Remini allegedly said that Cruise is not a good example or does not appear as an inspiring role model for his own religion.
Following such accusations, there have been several issues pointing to Cruise which were added to the claims that he is allegedly power tripping using his religion.
Reports claimed that Jamie Dewolf, the grandson of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, wants to stop the rumored anomalies.
"I brought a camera crew with me and started filming people with specific questions," said Dewolf, as quoted in Radar Online. "A lot of these people haven't gone on the record before, but they'll talke to me because I'm asking very specific questions."
He added, "I've interviewed a couple of my own family who have never really gone on the record before." Besides exposing a few details about how things went through during filming, he added "It's really, really dark and pretty twisted."
As to whether or not the rumors about him are real, several reports have claimed that the Academy Award winning actor has since become a changed person after joining Scientology. Tom Cruise became a member of the religious group back in 1990 through his former wife Mimi Rogers.
