Tori Spelling's Husband 'Desperate' Because Of Actress' Debts, Wants To Sell Wife's Possessions?
Tori Spelling's husband is allegedly "desperate" because of the financial woes of the former "Beverly Hills 90210" actress. According to a report from Radar Online, Dean McDermott supposedly demanded that his wife sells her possessions in order to pay her mounting debts.
An insider revealed that the meager paychecks that Tori has been receiving have not been enough to get her out of debt. One of the examples is her upcoming Lifetime movie "Mother May I Sleep with Danger," where she is supposedly going to earn her just $10,000.
"She is happy to just be getting a paycheck," the insider said. "It's not huge money, but it's better than nothing."
The insider explained that the daughter of late Hollywood producer Aaron Spelling is living a lavish lifestyle beyond what she could currently afford.
"For most families, a $10,000 paycheck for just a few weeks' worth of work would be huge," the insider said. "But it's not for Tori."
"She can easily drop $1,000 at one toy store or department store," the insider pointed out.
Because of her inability to budget her finances, Tori Spelling's husband is supposedly pressuring her to sell her belongings.
"Dean is putting down his foot and telling Tori she must sell off all off their junk that has accumulated over the years," the insider narrated. "There are more than three huge storage lockers piled to the top, and the rental fees are $1,000-$4,000 a month."
People recently reported about how the reality star was sued by American Express for owing up to $37,981.97 since last summer.
According to court documents obtained by the news site, the 42-year-old actress' last activity was on June 26. She supposedly tried to use her American Express card to make a $1,070 payment, but the transaction failed to complete.
Her last payment was due way back Aug. 18, with a minimum amount of $1,477 owed on top of the past due amount worth $1,070.
An insider pointed out that Tori Spelling's husband has warned her a long time ago about living within her means. However, the former Hollywood It Girl supposedly did not agree with Dean McDermott's suggestions to live a simpler lifestyle, even when financial, marital and health problems struck their family last year.
"Tori just thinks she is one job away from being wealthy," an insider said. "She just refuses to accept how bleak things really are."
