Patrick Dempsey, Wife Jillian Fink Reconcile As Divorce Made ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Actor ‘Miserable’

A year after Patrick Dempsey's wife, Jillian Fink, filed for divorce, the couple has reportedly decided to call it off and be with each other again.

In its report, People revealed that a source has confirmed to them that the divorce talks "are now off the table."

Accordingly, the divorce had some bad impact to the "Grey's Anatomy" actor.

"The divorce made Patrick miserable," the insider dished. "It was definitely a wakeup call."

Prior to their reconciliation, it was divulged that "For the past year, Patrick and Jillian have been working on getting to where they are right now."

It can be recalled that in January last year, the make-up artist filed a divorce against the 50-year-old actor after cheating rumors erupted.

However, recent reports have already hinted about their reconciliation considering the several occasions that they were spotted together and the birthday greeting she had for him on Instagram earlier this month.

"They seem very happy and are spending a lot of time together," the unnamed informant told People. "They go on dates and are also involved with the kids together," the source added.

Meanwhile, the source pointed out that Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian Fink, who is a close friend of "Grey's Anatomy's" Ellen Pompeo, "are not dating anyone else, and only each other."

Does this mean that the dating rumors between him and former "Alias" Jennifer Garner were all lies?

According to Just Jared, these speculations must be "put to rest" now especially that "it was just revealed that they are giving their marriage a second chance." 

"So clearly he is not with Jennifer!" the report emphasized.

In the meantime, Herald Extra shared the possible reasons of the "Enchanted" star's exit from "Grey's Anatomy."

It was noted that there could be two possible reasons: he was fired out or he just wanted "to try something different," as he stated during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The actor used to portray Dr. Derek Shepherd, the husband of Ellen Pompeo's Dr. Meredith Grey in the TV series.
