'Mass Effect: Andromeda' News, Updates, Release Date: New Galaxy Will Be Four Times Larger Than Previous Maps
News from the upcoming forth installment of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been scarce lately. Although Bioware like to keep the development of the game to them, several leaks predicted the game's outcome. On the other note, the team behind the game promised fans that a new and exciting world awaits them.
According to Xbox Freedom, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be set on a new universe which includes new list of characters. The latest galaxy named "Andromeda" will roughly be four times larger than the previous maps. Gamers will most likely be working with the Remnant, a powerful race who will give the tips and guides to adjust in the new galaxy.
"We knew we wanted to start with a foundation composed of the best parts of any 'Mass Effect' game: exciting new worlds to discover, great characters, and intense action," the site noted.
"At the same time, we clearly wanted to expand the definition of what you should expect from a 'Mass Effect' game," it added.
Bioware assured that, although the fourth installment will transition in a whole new galaxy, fans will still be experiencing the same feels as the previous installment offers.
At the same time, one of the game's developer Cameron Lee, teased his followers on how the game would feel via his Twitter post and it says, "Just finished playing the first hour of Mass Effect: Andromeda." When one fan asked how the game was he replied, "was fun and he got to shoot things in the face."
Bioware is pulling all efforts to make the fourth instalment great. In fact, Lee expects that some gamers would "hyperventilate" once they get to try the new game.
With Chriss Wynn, former Senior Developer of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," leaving the project, the company said via Gaming Bolt, "Development of Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead at Bioware Montreal, Edmonton and Austin. And with a portion of the instalment already playable, it seems that they really are on the right track."
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be launched on December in PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles.
