'Assassin's Creed' Movie Plot Revealed? Michael Fassbender To Play Two Characters?

The spoilers for the upcoming action game based movie "Assassin's Creed" tease the possibility that the plot of the movie would focus on the origin of the main character, Callum Lynch.

The speculations concerning the movie plot were fuelled by "Macbeth" actor, Michael Fassbender, during an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

The 38-year-old actor recently revealed that his character, Callum will be shown as an outsider who has been institutionalized in his early teens in the upcoming movie "Assassin's Creed."

"He's a little bit of a lost soul of sorts," said Fassbender as reported by Den of Geek. "He starts to identify his lineage and where he comes from in a way."

IDigital Times reported that some speculations suggest that the movie will mostly center on Lynch's story with the search for his lineage. It is also rumored that Callum may be featured as a blood relative to one of the heroes from the "Assassin's Creed" franchise.

Further, the spoilers tease the possibility that the new movie plot will showcase the concept of genetic memories as portrayed in the "Assassin's Creed" role-playing game, Youth Health Magazine reported.

Aymar Azaizia, Ubisoft's content head, recently spilled some beans on the movie plot.

"Elements in the film have consequences and plot as in our games, comics, and books," Aymar claimed as reported by  International Business Times. "However, don't expect Assassin's Creed to be entirely historical."

Furthermore, Fassbender narrated his experience of acting in the movie as an enormous exposure to knowledge.

"To be a producer on it as well was very educational," the "Steve Jobs" actor said according to Movie News Guide. "I think we've got something special. I think we've done something original in this genre."

In addition to Michael Fassbender as the lead character caged in the body of his Spanish predecessor, Aguilar, in the 15th Century, the movie will also feature Jeremy Irons, Michael Williams and Marion Cotillard.

The "Assassin's Creed" movie is slated to be released on Dec. 21, 2016.
