Terrence Crawford Confident Timothy Bradley Will Vs Manny Pacquiao In April Fight

The April fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley has been billed as a tie-breaker, and Terence Crawford thinks that the American boxer will come out on top.

Terence Crawford was among the frontrunners to fight the Filipino fighter before the third installment of Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight was announced.

And while he respects Pacquiao's camp's decision in choosing Bradle, the boxer is keeping it real when it comes to who he thinks will be able to break the tie.

"He (Timothy Bradley) is going to win," he told Boxing Scene.

Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley first slugged it out in June 2012 for the welterweight title. The latter won but not without controversy. Judges reviewed the result and deemed that Pacquiao should have won, but the results could not be overturned.

Crawford does not agree with the judges in the first fight.

"I thought he won," said Crawford. "I didn't score the fight. I just watched the fight and I can't remember the score. But I know he won."

The second Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight took place two years later and the Filipino fighter won. Crawford also agreed with the outcome.

"(Bradley) lost the second fight," he explained. "He was winning the early rounds, and he changed up his game plan. I think he hurt Pacquiao early, in the second round, and he just started going for the knockout after he hurt his calf."

Terence Crawford was name-dropped by Top Rank boss Bob Arum as a possible opponent before the Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley fight was made official for April.

"Arum isn't saying who he personally wants Pacquiao's to fight next, but some boxing fans think that Arum wants/needs Pacquiao tight Crawford in order to increase his value to his Top Rank stable in the same way that Rios' value was increased after his fight against Pacquiao two years ago," Boxing News 24 wrote.
