Ronda Rousey’s Sports Illustrated Shoot Amps Swimsuit Sales; Fighter On PDA With Boyfriend
The one-piece swimsuit that served as inspiration for Ronda Rousey's Sports Illustrated body paint shoot has been selling off the shelves, according to the report.
"The animal-print one-piece was carefully etched onto the former MMA champion's figure by Kiwi artist Joanne Gair for the magazine's annual swimsuit edition," reported New Zealand's Stuff Magazine.
"The intricate - and revealing - body art was painted over 14 hours, however it turns out you can actually get the look at home without the time commitment," it said.
The real-life inspiration of Ronda Rousey's Sports Illustrated body paint was designed by We Are Handsome, an Australian label that is very popular with celebrity A-listers like Rihanna and Beyonce.
"We Are Handsome tells us Ronda's plug made website sales for the suit surge 300% ... so good luck getting it," reported TMZ. "But in case you're feeling lucky, it's called The Fighter ... perfect fit for Ronda, even if she never really wore it."
The swimsuit that inspired Ronda Rousey's Sports Illustrated's body paint shoot retails for a little over $150.
Meanwhile, despite the controversy surrounding their relationship, Ronda Rousey and boyfriend Travis Browne are still very much strong.
"The UFC fighter, 28, was spotted gazing adoringly at her boyfriend Travis Browne during an outing in Los Angeles as she stood at the driver's side of his pickup truck," said Daily Mail. "She then moved in for a long smooch with the hoodie-wearing mixed martial arts athlete, reaching up on tip-toes to lock lips with her man who remained behind the wheel."
Travis Browne was accused by her ex-wife of domestic violence and the UFC previously suspended him while investigating the allegation. The organization later lifted the suspension after the inconclusive results of the probe.
Model Jenna Renee Webb also blasted Ronda Rousey for dating her boyfriend, an alleged wife-beater, as she tweeted, "I expected more from her. She should be ashamed of herself. It's only a matter of time that she sees his true colors."
