Shailene Woodley, 'Boyfriend' Theo James Become Official? Actor Cancels Planned Wedding With Girlfriend?

"Divergent" star Shailene Woodley's alleged boyfriend Theo James allegedly called off the wedding with long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney, according to rumors.

"Theo postponed the wedding plans as he has bagged James Bond role. James and Kearney started dating since 2009 and their six-year relationship does not seem likely to turn into the wedding," Movie News Guide alleged.

Sources also claimed that the British actor and his actress-girlfriend did not spend the holidays together as Theo James had mentioned that he would be spending Christmas and the New Year with his family in England.

Despite all the rumors linking "Divergent" stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James, the British actor and his girlfriend Ruth Kearney were already planning their wedding as early as last year. But his busy schedule was pointed out as the reason why the ceremony didn't push through.

After filming "Divergent: Insurgent," Shailene Woodley's rumored boyfriend is also working on the fifth installment of "Underworld," "The Benefactor," "Divergent Series: Ascendant," and "London Fields."

According to the outlet, Theo James and Shailene Woodley's chemistry was so strong that producers will surely cast them on another film outside of the "Divergent" franchise. The British actor has said in the past that he's open to working with the pretty actress again if the opportunity arises.

Master Herald also noted how Theo James seemed very enthusiastic about the kissing scenes with Shailene Woodley for the "Divergent" series.

"Divergent: Allegiant" will be shown on March 18, 2016 while "Divergent Series: Insurgent will be shown on March 18, 2017. As the franchise ends, Theo James is optimistic that he would cross paths with Shailene Woodley onscreen some time in the future.

According to an Movie News Guide, the actor and Shailene had a lot of fun hanging out during filming.

"He added that the cast was all staying in one apartment, and he and the actress shared one bed and they were spooning every night," the report claimed.

However, while Shailene Woodley might be linked with her "Divervent" co-star, the actress allegedly has a real boyfriend named Nahko Bear. He is reportedly a Hawaiian surfer and independent musician.

To date, there's no wedding date yet for Theo James and Ruth Kearney even if they were reported to have been engaged late last year.
