Samsung S7, S7 Edge Specs And Release Date: Expected Launch In March 2016
Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge were undeniably one of the most significant smartphone releases in 2016. Fans are wondering what's in store for the Korean tech giant when their upcoming flagship devices are already available in the market. For now, followers are left with rumored specs, launch date and design on Samsung's latest handsets.
A leak from AnTuTu claimed that the new Samsung Galaxy S7 bearing model number SM-G935A, is said to have two model numbers, namely SM-G930 and SM-G935 for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Although it wasn't clearly stated what the 'A' meant in the model numbers, speculation claimed that it was intended for a specific carrier, possibly AT&T.
The rumored specs also described Samsung Galaxy S7 to sport a 5.1-inch screen display, while the Edge will have a 5.5-inch display. Both handsets will have 1140 x 2560 resolution Adreno 530, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM, built-in 64 GB internal memory, a 12MP back camera, and 5MP front-facing camera.
However, almost all rumors seemed to agree to the 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. However, it may seem small, especially since the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Note 5 already have a 16 MP camera equipped. Galaxy consumers in the near future need not to be alarmed by this move, because Samsung perhaps intends to include their latest BRITECELL technology in both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on its release date, this new addition will be a great help to photographs taken under low-light conditions.
According to Value Walk, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which will be happening on February 22 to 25. The site claimed that it is likely that we will get to see Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at some point in March.
Samsung, on the other hand, has not yet officially publicized the reliability of these rumors regarding the specs and release date of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. All we can do now it to wait for the company's further announcements.
