Nayeon NA-sty Release Date & Time: TWICE Solo on Nov. 20
TWICE's Nayeon will release her next solo single album, "NA-sty," on Nov. 20, JYP Entertainment announced, ending a gap of about two years and five months since her last solo release.
JYP revealed the date through TWICE's official social media channels with a logo animation. It shows angelic halos and wing-shaped icons that change colors against a moving screensaver background. The release is scheduled for 2 p.m. KST on Nov. 20, which is midnight Eastern Time that day, or 11 p.m. Central and 9 p.m. Pacific on Nov. 19.
The title blends a play on Nayeon's name and personal style with the English word "nasty." JYP said the project is expected to show both her bright, lovable image and a more daring, candid side.
JYP calls it a "single album," according to Sports Kyunghyang, which quoted the agency's statement. Outlets vary in how they describe it: The Korea Times uses "single," "album" and "solo project," and the JoongAng Daily calls it a "new solo track." No tracklist or lead single has been announced. Starnews Korea gives the same release time as 12 a.m. Eastern Time.
The date fits what The Korea Herald reported on Oct. 21. An industry source told the paper that Nayeon's comeback was scheduled for the third week of November, while cautioning that idol schedules change often. A JYP official confirmed she was preparing for a solo return in late November. Nov. 20 falls in that window.
Nayeon has not released a solo album since "NA" in June 2024. She did release "Love Is Enough," a soundtrack single for the Korean drama "Sold Out on You," in May this year.
Her two earlier solo releases both came in June and both reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200. "IM NAYEON," led by "POP!," debuted at No. 7 in 2022. According to The Korea Herald, that made her the first K-pop solo artist to enter the chart's top 10. "NA," led by "ABCD," also debuted at No. 7 in 2024, which the paper says made her the first female K-pop soloist to place two albums in the top 10. The Korea Times reports that the two releases charted across 18 and 13 Billboard categories respectively.
That summer pattern is why a November date stands out. The Korea Times describes Nayeon as having earned a reputation as a "K-pop summer queen" and says the November release will test her appeal beyond the season.
Nov. 20 is also the first night of the 2026 MAMA Awards at Kyocera Dome Osaka. The Korea Herald's lineup report lists Nayeon among the performers for the two-night event.
JYP has not yet announced a teaser schedule, the tracklist or the lead single for "NA-sty."
