ATEEZ's "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated July 11, Billboard confirmed Sunday. It's the group's third career chart-topper - and their ninth top-10 album overall, more than any other group has managed on the chart in the 2020s.

The EP earned 228,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending July 3, with 223,000 of those coming from pure album sales - both career highs for the eight-member group. Availability across 30 CD variants and five vinyl editions, several with signed copies, helped drive the sales side of that number. "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" was the only new release to enter the top 10 this week, arriving ahead of Olivia Rodrigo's "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love" and Drake's "ICEMAN."

The nine top-10 milestone breaks a tie ATEEZ had shared with Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together, who each hold eight top-10 Billboard 200 entries this decade. ATEEZ's own run started with "THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT" in 2022, which peaked at No. 3, and has included two prior No. 1s: "THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL" in 2023 and "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2" in 2024.

The chart news follows a milestone of a different kind. ATEEZ released "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" on June 26, just days before headlining BST Hyde Park in London - only the third K-pop act ever to top that festival's bill. The music video for lead single "BAD" also features actress Chase Infiniti, a longtime ATINY who has spoken publicly about following the group since their early tours in small venues.

For a group whose fandom has always skewed toward passionate rather than mainstream-sized, the sales side of this week's numbers stands out as much as the chart position. Five consecutive years of top-10 finishes, capped by a career-high sales week, points to a fanbase that has scaled up without losing the density that built it in the first place.

Billboard's full chart posts July 7. ATEEZ has not yet announced whether "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" will get a companion tour leg beyond their existing festival dates.
