Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S Specs Revealed; Unit On Windows 10 OS!
The specs for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S has been released at the recently concluded CES event for 2016
At the event, Samsung announced a two-in-one that is a combination of a sleek factor of Galaxy Tab Series with a software that allows it to be a legitimate work machine.
The new Surface Pro Clone from the company which is a Windows 10 tablet, could be converted into a laptop when attached to a keyboard case via a magnetic connector comes as a rival to Apple's iPad Pro and Google Pixel C. Here are its Specs, as per the company's Demo at CES 2016.
Operating System: Windows 10 is dubbed as the most important feature of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S. If the same form factor is taken with Android operating system, it could come out as an illogical mobile device that won't make a work machine.
Samsung has been wise in making this choice of Windows operating system that perfectly fits the hybrid form factor, according to fans.
As cited by Mashable, One of its most interesting specs is that the Galaxy Tab Pro S lets you log into the device with your Galaxy Phone. Instead of typing your windows password, just hold up your phone to the Keyboard to authenticate with your fingerprint and log in. Samsung says its working on a way to unlock the device just by proximity.
Physical Design: Based on the CES hands-on, the device is an incredibly sleek one with just 6.3 mm thickness (26 percent thinner than Surface Pro 4 and Nine percent thinner than iPad Pro)
Also, it is said that the new Galaxy tab Pro S is 35 percent lighter than Core M3 Surface pro 4 and three percent lighter than the iPad Pro. This depicts an incredibly light and thin device that's unusual for a Windows hybrid.
The Tab Pro S has a Metal Frame and a Matte Plastic Pack (while the Surface and iPad equivalents are all Metal Tablets)
Display: Richer-colored, Deeper blacked view with pretty sharp display at 216 PPI. This Windows based hybrid from Samsung will be the first device to hit the markets among the other Windows laptops with AMOLED Screens.
Processor: Galaxy Tab Pro S will be equipped with 6-th gen Core M Processor. This also means that the tablet is fanless.
Performance: The device was fluid and responsive during the Demo.
Accessories: The new Galaxy Tab Pro S will ship with its keyboard accessory in its box (Unlike the iPad pro or surface pro). There is no Kickstand (unlike the Surface Pro) which enables it to prop it up in only a few angles. The keyboard covers resembles that of iPad Pro's.
Connectivity: USB Type C Port
Pricing: With Samsung's recent high-end tablets sold just like the iPads Pro, a similar range is expected.
A Samsung Rep said the company is also going to have a Bluetooth Pen to sell individually, Cited Gizmag.
With all these interesting Specs, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S is expected to release sometime in 2016.
