Tom Daley Shares Details Of Proposal To Boyfriend Dustin Lance Black; Diver Kept Ring In Underwear!

Olympic diver Tom Daley disclosed the moments of his engagement proposal to boyfriend Dustin Lance Black. The TV personality shared details of the event saying he was wearing nothing except his underwear when it all came down.

"I had the ring box in my underwear, and when he came out of the bathroom, I just went down on my knee and proposed," said Tom Daley per Digital Spy.

"Then he ran off to the bathroom to get his rings, and he had this whole speech prepared, but he's a writer so his was quite extravagant," he added.

"But looking back, all I can remember is being completely overwhelmed, like, 'Oh my God, we're now engaged. Who do we have to call?' So I called my mom, and he called his stepdad," he said.

Tom Daley and boyfriend Dustin Lance Black, who got engaged last October, have been dating since 2013.

The diver posted a heart moving photo on Instagram displaying their engagement rings against their newspaper announcement and captioned it "#HeSaidYes and then #ISaidYess. Thanks for all the lovely messages!"

The Olympic bronze medal winner had opened up about his sexuality via a Youtube video in 2013, revealing that he was dating the academy award winner and screenwriter.

The wedding date for the couple is yet to be finalized, which will be sometime after the Olympic Games in which Daley is set to appear. The games will be held in Rio this coming August.

Meanwhile, Tom Daley and boyfriend Dustin Lance Black reportedly shot for the cover of the February 2016 annual "Love Issue" of a new magazine, where they opened their hearts about their romantic journey together.

While the duo posed in matching red suits, Tom Daley went shirtless as he wore a red polka dotted suit in tuxedo style. On the other hand, Dustin Lance Black paired his suit with a long shirt and cerise trousers, according to Mail Online.
