Tom Daley And Boyfriend Dustin Lance Black's Wedding Will Follow Rio Olympics 2016?

After announcing their engagement, the soon-to-be married couple Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are not rushing things for their wedding and seemingly finishing some works on the row before the big day.

Not long after the news about their engagement made headlines, Daley's mother Debbie Daley spoke up about how excited their whole family is and revealed that the couple will set plans for their wedding after the 2016 Rio Olympics.

"The whole family is extremely excited and looking forward to the big day." she said, as quoted in PinkNews. "They are going to wait until after the Olympic Games in Rio before they decide on the date of the wedding and where they want to marry."

Moreover, she added that the two may not be able to focus on properly planning for their wedding since Tom is still busy training in Stratford for the Rio Olympics that is set to begin on the first week of August 2016.

"Training has always come first for him. Once Rio is out of the way, they will properly plan the wedding." she continued.

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black announced their engagement back in October and the two have been invited into several interviews following the news. In an interview with Out, Daley and Black sat down together as an engaged couple and gushed over how they met and what are their future plans.

"I've never in my life heard of a straight man putting his number in another man's phone with a winky face," Black said. Daley added, "Quite honestly, we talked about marriage within the first two weeks after seeing each other the first time in L.A."

He added, "That was the weird thing, that it came up in conversation so many times. I always knew it was going to happen at some point."

Daley also did not miss out sharing how he popped up the question to his partner and what happened after the proposal. He said, "I had the ring box in my underwear, and when he came out of the bathroom, I just went down on my knee and proposed." 

The 21-year old diver went on saying, "Then he ran off to the bathroom to get his rings, and he had this whole speech prepared, but he's a writer so his was quite extravagant. But looking back, all I can remember is being completely overwhelmed, like Oh my God, we're now engaged."

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have been in a relationship for two years, currently sharing a home in London.
