Brandon Returns To The Court After Injury, Hopes Trade Rumors Are False

After almost of year of being absent, Brandon Jennings returns to the court to play basketball again after recovering from an injury. According to CSNNE, the last time Boston Celtics played against Detroit Pistons, Jennings was nearing a return to the floor and play after he acquired a ruptured left Achilles injury back on Jan. 24, 2014 - almost two years ago.

As of late, he has already made appearance in four games, with the last one concluded with a 17-point effort while playing in less than 20 minutes and eventually came in a 115 - 89 home win against Orlando on Monday. With Brandon Jennings' return after the injury, he just proved that the Pistons that they need that highly necessary offensive punch. However, it is also clear that he will also be delivering it off the bench for now since the Piston's starting point guard of the moment is Reggie Jackson, a former Boston College standout.

And then there's an ongoing issue of them sharing enough minutes per game as Jackson has been an outstanding player this season, averaging with 19.7 points in 31.1 minutes per game. "It will become an issue I'm sure," according to Stan Van Gundy, the president of Detroit's president of basketball operations as well as the Pistons' head coach. But he's not too concerned about it either. "Anytime you're dealing with the issue of trying to get enough minutes for more good players. That's a good issue to have."

Although the event has been some sort of celebratory, there's an ongoing rumor that he will be traded to another basketball team, according to mlive.com. When asked whether he thinks he will finish off the season in Motown, he can only hope. "I don't know. I hope so. So we'll see," said Jennings.

However, Van Gundy clarified that Brandon Jennings won't go anywhere despite his return from his injury, according to HNGN. "I've said all along that our plan right now is he can help us make a playoff push and that's our plan right now. If something changes in the next five weeks, we'll look at it. Right now, he's a very good player who can help us," he said.
