Could Gwen Stefani stop Christina Aguilera's return to "The Voice" by using her relationship with Blake Shelton?

According to rumors, the "Beautiful" singer is becoming desperate to return as a coach on NBC's famous singing competition.

Radar Online reported that Aguilera is doing everything that she can to keep her place on the revolving chair come season 10.

"[Aguilera] said that it was her show and gave a really big spiel about how she thinks that Gwen used this Blake thing to try and stay on the show," a source allegedly revealed to the gossip site.

However, it seems that she's the only one who wants to come back on the show. The source further noted that people were actually "dreading her return."

The site also claimed claimed that Stefani's boyfriend, Blake Shelton, also wanted to keep his girl on the show.

Certain people reportedly had a horrible time working with Christina Aguilera on "The Voice" in previous episodes and are not at all excited to see her on the set again.

"She (Christina Aguilera) was really difficult to work with," an insider was quoted as saying. "Tensions between her and Adam were consistent, but she also just had a really bad attitude."

Furthermore, she was reportedly constantly late for filming, causing problems for the crew.

"She showed up late a lot, took forever for hair and makeup and was just very demanding," the insider continued.

Other fans, however, think there should be five coaches on the show just to accommodate both Stefani and Aguilera. Shelton reportedly also shared the same sentiment, hoping that Stefani would instead join himself, Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharell Williams for the next season.

"They have been switching the female judges on and off for over three seasons now and it has nothing to do with how well Gwen is performing," the gossip site quoted a source as saying, as reported by The Inquisitr. "It has more to do with just keeping it different by changing it up. As of right now, there are no plans to make it five judges."

Should Christina Aguilera join Gwen Stefani and the judges of "The Voice" as a fifth coach?
