‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Two-Part Sequel To Be Shot In IMAX; Chief Characters Rumored To Die
The super hit Hollywood blockbusters "Avengers" and "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" are all set to have a two-installment sequel, "Avengers: Infinity War," which is set to be released in two years' time.
The directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, noted that the sequels will be shot entirely on IMAX and the main characters of the franchise may get killed.
The director duo said that after shooting "Captain America: Civil War," they came to the decision to shoot the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" exclusively in IMAX.
"I just feel that the thing that distinguishes movies right now is that widescreen format... Why you go out of your house and go to the theater is to have that experience that you can't have in your house," said Joe Russo, according to Lawyer Herald.
Joe Russo further explained that fans will not be disappointed with "Avengers: Infinity War" as it is a conclusion of 20 films.
"There are 20 movies behind them, they're the culmination of twenty films. You won't be disappointed in the scale of those movies or of the number of characters that are in them. As mentioned, it's the culmination of 20 movies, and so 20 films of storytelling will intersect in those movies," said Russo, as reported by NEWSarama.com.
After rescheduling "Avengers: Infinity War" release date of for quite a few times, it is now expected to be released finally on May 4, 2018 (part I) and in May 2019 (part II).
