Jennifer Garner Already Dating Patrick Dempsey Despite Pending Divorce With Ben Affleck? Ex-Couple Attends Sean Whitesell's Funeral

With Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner divorce still in the process, the American actress is already reportedly started dating "Grey's Anatomy" actor, Patrick Dempsey.

Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey have co-starred in the film "Valentine's Day" and the pair got along very well together. The duo reportedly started dating each other few months back when the actress asked McDreamy out for coffee.

"They've been friends for years ... it was only natural for them to confide in each other. As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them. Jen was relieved - and excited." revealed a source, according to news.com.au. 

Meanwhile, keeping apart their mutual differences, the estranged couple attended the funeral of a mutual friend, writer Sean Whitesell, on Saturday, Jan. 2, in Los Angeles.

The duo may have been undergoing divorce, but they seemed to be committed to co-parent their three kids, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 6 and Samuel, 3, by living in the same house, reported Mirror.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are reportedly still staying together at their family home for their kids despite the divorce. "Ben is living in the family house, but in a separate section. He has a room to himself, but it's in an area that Jen goes to on a daily basis," told a source to E! News, noted Design &Trend.

"It has forced them to have to day-to-day interactions and spend a lot more time together than a typical separated couple. It's working well for the kids to have both of them there in close quarters, so they have made sacrifices and agreed to do it for now," added the source.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck got married on June 29, 2005 and about 10 years after marriage, the couple announced their divorce in June last year.

The reason for divorce was reportedly Ben Affleck's gambling, drinking problems and his cheating on Jennifer Garner with their children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

Even though Affleck had been photographed with Ouzounian at his bachelor pad, on July 17, he has been denying that they had an affair. The sources close to the couple said the divorce was a mutual decision.

"Saying he's a bad father and a husband is an easy story, and everyone has wanted to clock him as a womanizer and gambler. He couldn't deal with her expectations. When you're told you're not good enough, you start to believe it," noted an insider, according to GLAMOUR.
