Channing Tatum Fights With Wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum Amid 'Lip Sync Battle' Stint?
All eyes are on Channing Tatum as he accepted the challenge of appearing on "Lip Sync Battle."
The "Magic Mike" actor performed a lip sync musical number of "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen" while sporting a dress and a wig to portray Elsa.
"Channing could be seen sporting Elsa's signature shimmery blue dress with a long, flowing silver cape," Daily Mail noted. "He also wore a long, braided white wig to match the powerful queen from the popular Disney animated feature."
Amid the focus on Channing Tatum's "Lip Sync Battle" video teaser, there are speculations that one person may not be too happy about the number - his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
Is there a possibility that Jenna Dewan-Tatum is embarrassed by Channing Tatum's "Lip Sync Battle" stint?
Not quite. If there's any reason for Jenna Dewan-Tatum not to be happy about her husband's "Let It Go" performance, it's because he did a pretty good job at it - and that she would have to up her game to beat him as they are competing against each other.
"I just really hope our marriage isn't over after tonight," Channing Tatum jokingly said in the video teaser.
"We're a house divided at the moment. We're going to war," his wife added.
Aside from his Queen Elsa gig, the actor is also performing "Run the World" by Beyonce. The performance featured a cameo from none other than Queen Bey herself.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum's musical numbers however, weren't featured in the trailer.
"Lip Sync Battle" is gaining more and more attention after featuring big names in the industry in its past episodes.
"Sometimes you do need a little bit of magic, and that's what happened with 'Lip Sync Battle,'" the show's producer, Casey Patterson Patterson, told Variety.
"I love comedy, and I love live and I love variety, so 'Lip Sync Battle' was just the perfect storm, and it launched the company in a really nice way right in our wheelhouse with a celebrity talent-driven, shareable, viral, new world format."
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum's appearance on "Lip Sync Battle" will air on January 7, 10PM at Spike.
