Christina Aguilera Gwen Stefani Feud News Update: 'The Voice' Staff Picks Sides?
It seems that Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani's alleged feud is far from being over. And there are speculations that the staff members of "The Voice" may be siding with one of them.
It has been previously reported that people behind "The Voice" prefers working with the No Doubt vocalist than with the "I Turn To You" singer.
"She (Christina Aguilera) was really difficult to work with... Tensions between her and Adam were consistent, but she also just had a really bad attitude," a source close to "The Voice" production told Radar Online, as quoted in a previous news report.
"She showed up late a lot, took forever for hair and makeup and was just very demanding."
If these rumors were true, then it wouldn't be hard to believe that some of "The Voice" mentors may also want Gwen Stefani to keep her seat on the TV talent search, particularly her boyfriend Blake Shelton.
It could be recalled that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani confirmed the news that they are dating, just a few months after filing for divorce from their respective spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.
According to sources, Christina Aguilera is purportedly furious that Gwen Stefani seems to be using her relationship with Blake Shelton to stay in "The Voice."
Despite the popularity of Shelton and Stefani's PDA moments in "The Voice," Christina is reportedly not giving up on reclaiming her spot on the show next season without a fight.
"Christina said that it was her show and gave a really big spiel about how she thinks that Gwen used this Blake thing to try and stay on the show," a source told Radar, as quoted in a news report published on December 21.
"Now people are dreading her return."
It has been previously rumored that before Gwen Stefani confirmed she was dating Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera allegedly called her a "substitute" and didn't think of the No Doubt singer as a threat.
"Everyone knows Christina thinks this is her show and she can swan in and out whenever she likes. She refers to Gwen as 'the substitute!'" a source previously told OK! Magazine, as quoted by Celeb Dirty Laundry in a news report published in November.
