Fans of EXO's Baekhyun and Miss A's Suzy won't have to wait for long as the two are set to release their collaboration song on January 7 at 12:00 midnight. The collaboration is a first, not only for both artists, but also for their respective agencies, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment.

Korea Joongang Daily reported Monday that the collaboration song, entitled "Dream," is about a man and a woman who fell for each other in their first meeting. The team-up was suggested by veteran producer Park Geun Tae, which was later approved by the two agencies.

Park has produced a number of songs for K-pop artists such as "Happy Me" by Eco, "Did We Really Love?" by Brown Eyed Soul and "I Won't Love" by Baek Ji Young, as noted by Korea Times Monday.

"Dream" was written by lyricist Kim Ea Na.

According to reports, a live club version of the song will also be made available online.

23-year-old Baekhyun debuted as one of the main vocalists of South Korean-Chinese boy band, EXO. He joined his agency after being recruited through the SM Casting System in 2011.

Baekhyun became the ninth member of the popular band on January 20, 2012. Baekhyun reportedly looks up to South Korean singer-songwriter Rain and hopes to follow his footsteps.

He appeared in the Korean adaptation of a musical titled "Singin' in the Rain," which was produced by SM C&C. Although he is a member of EXO, the artist has also established a solo career over the past few years.

On the other hand, Suzy is a South Korean singer-actress who started her career in 2010 with Fei and Jia. The three formed a group called Miss A on the same year. The group signed with Samsung Electronics group in China where they made their first official promotional activities.

On the same year, the group was joined by Min and released their first single "Bad Girl Good Girl" under their current agency JYP Entertainment.

Aside from performing, Suzy has done hosting and has starred in a number of television drama series.
