According to sources, the photo was posted by Lamar Odom, Jr., his 13-year-old son. it came with a caption that went "Christmas with pops."

His teenager son, together with his sister Destiny, who is 17 years old, has likely thought they would never get the chance to thee their basketball player dad for Christmas since he was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas due to an overdose back in October. Odom Sr. since then has been recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to The Daily Mail.

It has also been reported that Khloe Kardashian, Lamar's estranged wife, has flown the kids away to Los Angeles, where he's currently getting his treatment and recovery. An insider told E! on Tuesday: "Khloe flew Lamar's kids out to L.A. so they can spend time with him, and Khloe came to Houston for a few days while his kids are in LA with him."

In other news, Lamar Odom's amazing progress on updates regarding his recovery may have come with a hefty price. According to Inquisitr, his hospital bills have continued to mount and the cost could be "in the millions" as of writing.

In a post by Christian Post on Dec. 30, an expert claimed told Entertainment Tonight about Lamar Odom's hospital bills may be a difficult thing to pay even though that there is insurance involved and the net worth of the star basketball player. The post also revealed that Khloe may or may not be helping with the costs.

"Just your basic hospital stay usually runs about $10,000 a night," said costs expert Shana Alex Charles who told ET Online. "Cedars-Sinai is not basic care, and [Lamar Odom's] kind of incident is not basic, so you can just assume that it's going to be much higher than that, maybe even as high as $30,000 to $50,000 per night, which adds up very quickly."
