'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Update: New Season To Revisit Old Plots?
Following "Rick and Morty" season 2 which finished airing last October 2015, the third instalment for the adult animated television series has already been confirmed. While the official release date is still yet to be announced, reports claimed that the new season will be revisiting previous plots.
Not too long after Adult Swim has disclosed a few details about the upcoming "Rick and Morty" season 3, fans were quick to speculate what might possibly be in store in the new season.
According to Movie Pilot, show creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have been in their efforts to come up with unique ideas for the series' third franchise. Moreover, the show creators hinted that the new season will show old narratives.
"I've been jotting ideas down, yeah. Nothing super fleshed out, but there are definitely little seeds." Roiland explained. Harmon on the other hand, said "I re-watched both seasons a couple nights ago, and now I'm excited about revisiting stuff in season three because I was so phobic about revisiting stuff in season two."
Though they have not clearly stated what part of the previous season are they going to revisit in season 3, "Rick and Morty" fans are already on the lookout about what's to come in the new season and who are the characters to be shown as the flashbacks take place.
"I'm going to make that a personal promise to myself. I'm going to force Mr. Meeseeks into season three." Harmon hinted at the Comic Con event, as quoted in Inverse.
After the plans about addressing previous plots from the last season made headlines, the "Rick and Morty" viewers have been asking if Evil Morty will make a comeback in the new season and if Rick and Morty will return to the Dog World.
Though "Rick and Morty" season 2 began with loads of fun and adventures, things didn't turn out as happily as everyone expected after the finale ended with Rick giving himself to the Galactic Federation.
The "Rick and Morty" season 2 finale has left fans wondering what will happen to Rick in the third season now that he's with the enemies.
