Korean girl group Ladies' Code released two singles - "I'm Fine Thank You" and "I'll Smile Even If It Hurts" - as tribute songs to their former members who died in a car crash last year.

The first single was released to commemorate the first death anniversary of Go Eun B last Thursday, while the second song was released to commemorate the first death anniversary of Kwon Ri Se on Monday.

It was on September 3, 2014 when the K-pop group had a car accident while on their way back to Seoul from Daegu City where the girls performed. The car, driven by their manager, lost control and crashed on a wall in an expressway in Gyeonggi province.

The paramedics declared 22-year-old EunB dead on arrival upon reaching the hospital, while RiSe passed away four days after the accident. The three other members of the group - Ashley, Sojung and Zuny - survived the accident but suffered from injuries, with Sojung initially declared in critical condition.

Manila Bulletin noted on Wednesday last week that the Polaris Entertainment announced the collaboration of artists Kim Bum Soo, Ivy, Rumble Fish, Yang Dong Geun, Han Hee Jun and Sun Woo in the performance of 'I'm Fine Thank You.' 'I'll Smile Even If It Hurts' will be performed by the group's three survivors.

The two songs will be the first from the group since the unfortunate accident.

"They weathered hard times thanks to support and encouragement received from many people," the agency said according to The ChosunIlbo on Tuesday. "They will meet with fans soon."

Meanwhile, a memorial concert dedicated to the former members of Ladies' Code - especially to RiSe who dreamt to perform in Japan - was held by the group and agency last August in Tokyo.

Also, the group's manager, who was also the driver of the van, was made accountable for the accident and was convicted in January. The manager was sentenced for two years and will be suspended. He was also ordered to do community service and would have to take driving classes.
