'Pokémon Go' News Update For Locations And Beta?; Developers Released Official Statement!
A "Pokemon Go" news update has been released from a recent interview of its developers with Venture Beat.
Chief executive of Niantic Labs, John Hanke together with Mike Quigley shared an information about the Pokémons' location and how the gamers could find them. He said, "Pokémon will live in different parts of the world depending on what type of Pokémon they are," according to Design & Trend.
In short, the location of your pokemon will depend on its element. He also said that, "Water Pokémon will live near the water. Pokémon will only exist in certain parts of the world. Very rare Pokémon may exist in very few places. But you can trade," the statement continued.
"Pokemon Go" news update relayed developers assurance to its players that it will be released worldwide and not only within a certain area.
"Our goal is to make it so you can walk out of the house and within five minutes, you can find Pokémon," Hanke said according to RocketNews24. "It may not be the most rare Pokémon in the world, but there'll be a population of Pokémon living near all our players," the statement continued.
In order for gamers to find Pokémons, they are required to wear the Pokémon Go Plus, a watch-like device developed by Nintendo. It will notify the player once it detects a virtual creature within the vicinity.
The "Pokemon Go" news update revealed that Gyms might be hard to find for the gamers. It will require effort from them so that they can increase the level of their Pokémons and participate in battles. The company will also organize events where they can trade and compete with other players.
Developers said that players will have the chance to choose between two teams in the game that will eventually battle with each other.
There were speculations that a beta version of the game will be released in February 2016. It will allegedly feature its recent developments and rumors had it that it can be downloaded for free, according to Parents Herald.
The game is set to be released in 2016 and will be available for both iOS and Android phones.
