‘M! Countdown’, ‘Boys Planet’, and ‘Music Bank’ To Air As Scheduled Following Moonbin’s Death
It is confirmed that the following Korean programs Boys Planet, M Countdown, and Music Bank will air as scheduled following the passing of ASTRO member, Moobin.
Mnet's Boys Planet released a statement saying, "After a lengthy discussion on whether or not to carry on with the live broadcast of the 'Boys Planet' finale, we plan to broadcast it as scheduled."
A representative from M Countdown also expressed that "Today's broadcast will be carried out with a quiet atmosphere and our deepest condolences."
Music Bank also released a statement saying, "The April 21st broadcast of 'Music Bank' will be carried out as scheduled, but the photo wall on the way to 'Music Bank' has been canceled. At the end of the broadcast, a memorial video for Moonbin is currently scheduled to go out, and it's under discussion."
The entire Kpop industry is shocked on the sudden passing of ASTRO member Moonbin. The 25 year old K-pop artist was found dead in his apartment on April 19 8:10pm KST.
Police reports have said that Moonbin has taken his own life, and an autopsy is being conducted to confirm his exact cause of death. His remains are set up at a funeral home of Asan Hospital in Seoul.
Moonbin recently had a comeback with Sanha, ASTRO's unit group. Fans were devastated and still in shock of this news.
