Krystal Jung To Make Her Cannes Film Festival Debut
Cobweb, one of the official top-notch selections for the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The upcoming film is directed by Kim Jee Woon, will star f(x) member and Korean actress Krystal Jung, making this her debut in the mentioned festival.
The film will also star the talented Song Kang Ho, who was highly praised last year for his acting in the film Broker. Aside from Krystal Jung, Cobweb will also feature Oh Jung Se, Im Soo Jung, and Jeon Yeo Bin.
The movie tells the story of an obsessive film director and his struggles to finish a movie, regardless if his project if filled with veteran actors.
Krystal Jung, also known as Jung Soo-jung, is a South Korean singer, actress, and model. She debuted as a member of the girl group f(x) in 2009, and quickly gained popularity for her unique and charismatic stage presence. She has released several hit songs with f(x), including "Electric Shock," "Rum Pum Pum Pum," and "4 Walls."
In addition to her music career, Krystal has also pursued acting, appearing in several Korean dramas and films. She has been recognized for her talent and hard work with several awards and nominations, including the Best New Actress award at the 2012 SBS Drama Awards and the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards.
