‘Sonic Frontiers’ Video Game Sold 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide
The official Twitter account of SEGA announced recently that the latest game of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Sonic Frontiers, has reached a milestone selling 2.5 million copies worldwide.
The game publisher also statement that they will be releasing more free content for the game in 2023.
Sonic Frontiers was released on November 8, 2022 for the PlayStaion 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Its theme song titled Vandalize is performed by popular Japanese band ONE OK ROCK.
On November 1, a six-minute animated short featured the character Knuckles was uploaded titled Sonic Frontiers Prologue. A new 3D animated series Sonic Prime is scheduled to premiere on December 15 and is listed for 24 episodes.
