Rihanna World Tour 2016 Starts February 26; New Album Details Released?
Rihanna's world tour 2016, titled "Anti," has been announced along with the details of her upcoming album.
The series of concerts will first start at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California on Feb.26. Fans in North America will be expecting her special guest, Travi$ Scott while The Weekend and Big Sean will have a special appearance in Europe on June 11, according to Billboard.
She also made an announcement via Twitter saying, "#ANTIWorldTour starts Feb 2016! Bringing along @trvisXX in N. America & @theweeknd @bigsean in EU," according to USA Today.
She will be performing in almost 40 cities up until August 2016 as part of her world tour. The "Anti" world tour 2016 is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Puma and Samsung. It will include cities like New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, and more.
Rihanna's world tour 2016 tickets will officially start selling on Dec.3 while Tidal subscribers and American Express cardholders will have the opportunity to buy the tickets earlier on Nov. 30 10 am until Dec. 2 10 pm.
Along with her world tour announcement, Rihanna is rumored to release her "Anti" album this week but hasn't give any official debut date as of the moment, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The "Anti" album cover shows a childhood photo of Rihanna, an artwork which is inspired by her first day of school created by Roy Nachum. The cover shows a young Rihanna wearing a gold crown that is covering her eyes and is holding a black balloon tied around her wrist.
It will also include seven original poems engrave in Braille written by Chole Mitchell along with Nachum's original oil paintings.
The new album is rumored to include songs like "Bitch Better Have My Money," "American Oxygen" and "FourFiveSeconds," according to Consequence of Sound. Fans are anticipating the songs to be included in her live performace for the Rihanna world tour 2016.
