Domino's Pizza Button Process 'Easy Order' With Just One Press; Limited To UK Customers?
Domino's lets customers order a pizza by just simply pressing a button.
This new option is called "Easy Order" that can be used physically or virtually by Domino's customers. The physical type of the new pizza ordering system is a small button that is capable of processing various transactions. Flic provided the magnetic button that works with an app through a Bluetooth connection to process orders.
Customers can order pizza by simply typing in their address and payment information on Domino's website or mobile app and the rest will be done by the system, according to Engadget.
When the Domino's pizza button is pressed it will turn red as an indication that the pizza will be delivered shortly. Domino's will hold a competition on December to will give away limited edition easy order buttons as a price to selected participants.
There is also a virtual button for the rest of its customers on their website or app to order pizza whenever they want. Customers just need to log in, register, order a pizza, press the Domino's pizza button and it will be delivered.
Domino's Sales & Marketing Director, Simon Wallis said "The Domino's app has been downloaded over 10 million times and 75% of our orders are now online," according to Trusted Reviews. "We also know that our customers love innovation, which further improves the ease of ordering such as our Pizza Tracker," Wallis added.
The company believes that the new developed technology is the "easiest ever order options" for their customers who have busy schedules and to adjust with the efficient way of transaction, according to Telegraph.co.uk.
The physical buttons will be first released in December and second will be in February of next year, according to PCMag.
However, Domino's pizza buttons are only available for customers residing in the U.K. The company has also launched an ordering system in May for U.S customers in using a tweet with pizza emojis to their official account.
